Everyone would like better dental health and whiter teeth. There are easy, inexpensive ways that you can whiten your teeth at home.

Here are my top 4 ways to improve dental health and whiten teeth.

First:

Brush your teeth three times daily and use theTeeth Whitening Kit by Dirty Mouth.

Note: You can use tooth powders as a toothpaste.

Second:

Floss Your Teeth

Floss your teeth two to three times daily to keep the stains from lodging between your teeth.

Third:

Oil Pulling

This may sound really weird, but it works as great detoxifier and wonderful for dental health!

Oil pulling is an Ayurveda Remedy used to enhance oral health and well-being. Oil pulling helps detoxify the body, helps remove unsightly stains on teeth, and also helps prevent illness and disease.

Ingredients

Pure, organic coconut oil

Unrefined sea salt

Tongue scraper

Toothbrush

Purified, (non-chlorinated) water

Directions

First thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth or eating anything, take 1 teaspoon of pure, organic coconut oil into your mouth and swish the oil in your mouth, tilting your head back, so that it can get to the back molars.  It is very important that you keep the oil in your mouth the whole time and Avoid Swallowing It.

You suck and pull the oil through your teeth and chew the oil so that it activates the saliva. Do this for at least 10 -15 minutes. The oil will turn white in your mouth as you do this.

Spit the oil out in the toilet. Again, Avoid Swallowing the Oil.

The oil pulls toxins and excess mucus out of the blood through the mucus membranes in the mouth.

After spitting, swish your mouth with a pinch of unrefined, mineral rich sea salt in warm purified water.

Immediately following the sea salt water rinse, brush your teeth thoroughly. Use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue well, and then use a toothbrush to clean the roof of the mouth too.

Next, drink 2 to 3 glasses of purified (non-chlorinated and non-fluoridated) water with a little bit of unrefined salt in it.

The result will be a fresh, relaxed feeling. The mouth will start to have less bleeding gums and a whitening of the teeth. If you do this on a continual basis, you may notice that any dark under-eye circles (that are puffy eyes) will start to disappear. You may even benefit by having more energy, a better memory and a better night’s sleep.

Fourth:

Eat Fresh Organic Apples and Strawberries

Consuming strawberries or apples and chewing them thoroughly can help whiten teeth. Apples and strawberries contain malic acid and vitamin C. The malic acid is like an astringent that helps remove surface stains, and the vitamin C helps remove plaque. You can even mash up some fresh strawberries or use grated apple. and brush with the mixture once in a while.

Note: Adding some fresh organic celery or carrots to your diet can also help promote dental health.

I’d love to hear what you do for your teeth and if you like my suggestions!
